Meet Your Texas Practitioner
I’m Latasha Mitchell, a Therapist based in La Marque, Texas supporting adults and seniors through depression, chronic illness support, and major life transitions.
About
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and proud owner of Transitions of Care, PLLC, I believe that reaching out for support is a meaningful step toward feeling better. I provide mental and behavioral telehealth services and create a warm, welcoming space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Together, we can explore what is weighing on you, identify your goals, and find practical ways to move forward. I will also help you better understand your diagnosis, symptoms, and treatment options so you can feel informed and confident in your care.
Over the course of my career, I have supported adults in many different settings, including hospice and palliative care, hospitals, medical clinics, organ transplantation, crisis response, and correctional environments. I help clients address intrusive fears, difficult thoughts, and behaviors that may be keeping them from the life they want. My approach combines mental, behavioral, and health-related psychological support with a strong emphasis on safety, education, and informed choice.
In addition to working with clients, I provide training and education to professionals and students in crisis response and clinical social work.
Together, we can build effective coping strategies and help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
